Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A search term entered in a sponsored tool is sent to the outside provider that operates that tool. The provider processes the request and supplies its result under its own policy. Bibb County Warrant Records does not keep or log those search terms on its own systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
If a visitor sends an email, the message and return address may be retained long enough to respond and maintain the exchange. The message is not shared outside the operating team unless disclosure is required by law.
Data We Gather Automatically
Normal server and analytics records may collect technical information when a page loads, including:
- Device internet protocol address
- Browser type and version
- Device class and operating system
- Pages viewed and time spent
- Referring site, when supplied
- Date and time of each request
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small device files that can help measure site use, page traffic, and common exit points. Analytics providers may combine that technical information into reports. Browser controls can block or remove cookies, though a disabled cookie may change how part of the site works.
What We Do With This Data
Collected technical and contact information may be used for these operating purposes:
- Delivering pages and keeping the service available
- Routing a tool request to its outside provider
- Measuring which material visitors use
- Finding security, speed, or display problems
- Supporting advertising suited to general visitor interests
No Warrant Data on File
Bibb County Warrant Records does not host, compile, maintain, or sell a database of warrants or personal warrant information. It publishes general directions to the Bibb County Circuit Clerk, Circuit and District courts, municipal courts, and Sheriff's Department. Visitor data is not combined into records about named third parties or used to create consumer reports. The site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies power the search boxes shown on some pages. A query submitted in one of those boxes is governed by the partner's privacy notice, retention rules, and sharing practices. Bibb County Warrant Records does not control those policies. Review the provider's terms before submitting any personal data.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to the Bibb County court site, Alabama Judicial System pages, municipal payment portals, government offices, or outside tools. Once a visitor follows a link, the destination's policy governs its collection and use of information. Check that policy before sending identifiers or payment details.
Advertising companies may use their own technology to measure visits across sites or choose ads. That activity takes place on systems they control.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal information is not sold. Limited data may be available to:
- Tool providers that process a search the user chooses to submit
- Analytics vendors that measure traffic and performance
- Advertising networks that display or measure ads
- Government or law enforcement bodies when a valid legal demand requires disclosure
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used for information within the site's control. No internet service can promise perfect security. Measures can reduce risk, but they cannot guarantee that loss, misuse, or unauthorized access will never occur.
Users Under 18
The service is intended for adults and does not knowingly seek personal data from anyone under 18. If information from a minor is identified, a deletion request may be made through the contact route.
Your Data Rights
Rights can vary with a user's residence and the law that applies. The Alabama Open Records Act, Ala. Code ยง36-12-40, concerns public records held by government custodians; it does not turn this private site into a Bibb County record agency. Subject to applicable law, a visitor may ask to:
- Receive a copy of personal data held about that visitor
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Delete personal data where a legal exception does not apply
- Opt out of processing when the governing law provides that choice
Updates to This Policy
This policy may be revised as services or legal duties change. A revised version will be posted here with a new date, and continued use after posting is governed by the current version.
